• Snoqualmie Valley Garden Club plant sale is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Mount Si Senior Center in North Bend. Look for annuals and vegetables raised by garden club members, as well as starts from prized shrubs. Proceeds help fund student scholarships and an international charity in Africa.

• The 2009 Snoqualmie Valley CROP Hunger Walk will wind through Snoqualmie, starting after services end at the Snoqualmie United Methodist Church. Co-sponsored by the Methodist Church, St. Clare of Assisi Episcopal Church and Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Snoqualmie, the walk is an ecumenical gathering to raise awareness of and money for the Mt.
