Washington Outdoor Women will host their weekend workshop on Sept. 15 to 17 at Camp Waskowitz in North Bend to teach wilderness survival skills to women.
Washington Outdoor Women is an educational program of the Washington Wildlife Federation that teaches outdoor skills and wilderness awareness through hands-on practice.
Some of the activities include archery, backpacking, basic freshwater fishing, fly fishing, herbal first aid, map and compass, wild edibles and wilderness first aid.
The workshop, available to woman 18 and older, is open for registration at www.washingtonoutdoorwomen.org.
