Snoqualmie Public Works gave word of a five-day closure of Southeast River Street, downtown, between Railroad Avenue and Maple Avenue, happening next week.
The closure will start at 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 4, through 5 p.m., Friday Aug. 8, and happens all day.
The street will be closed to install a utility trench and steel casings under the railroad tracks. The street will be reopened once the work is complete.
There will be a detour set up on King Street and Newton Street. Local access to the Snoqualmie Methodist Church and to the doctor’s offices on River Street is provided.
