Aroma Coffee Co. lauches weekly farmers market in Fall City

The market will run every Friday from 4 to 7 p.m. starting June 21.

Fall City’s Aroma Coffee Co. will kick off its first-ever weekly farmers market on June 21.

Having previously hosted monthly markets in the 33429 Redmond-Fall City Road SE parking lot, Aroma announced the uptick in frequency in May.

“With the monthly markets, we got so much feedback, both from our vendors and the local community, that people wanted more, more, more, more,” said Emily Ridout, the communications director and co-owner at Aroma. “We decided in January that we were going to go all-in.”

Each Friday from 4 to 7 p.m., Aroma will host 16 rotating vendors selling home goods, gifts, art and summer staples like eggs, berries and bread, and at least two food trucks for shoppers to enjoy.

The Fall City Community Association (FCCA), in partnership with Snoqualmie Falls Brewery and Sigillo Cellars, will host a beer and wine garden from 4 to 8 p.m., with all proceeds benefiting the FCCA’s work in the city.

Live music featuring local musicians will be at the markets on the last Friday of each month.

Aroma, footing the bill for the markets and operating at a loss, is highly motivated and passionate about increasing the support for local farmers and businesses in the Snoqualmie Valley, Ridout said.

“We had to kind of go ahead of the data and say to our vendors, ‘We believe we are going to have enough people here every week to support your business.’” she said. “But, I’m proud of what we’ve done. It’s a big event for the whole family, and there will be lots of cool, special offerings for everyone.”

Parking will be available every Friday at Fall City Elementary and the Fall City Library.
