King County residents who are new to Washington State still have time to register to vote in the Feb. 8 special election.
New voters can register at the King County Elections Office at 9010 East Marginal Way S. in Tukwila weekdays between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. by end of day Monday, Jan. 31. Online registration has closed for this election.
There are three measures to be decided by local voters in this election:
Proposition 1, a $56.2 million bond for the Snoqualmie Valley School District
Proposition 1, a $2.25 million bond for the city of North Bend
Proposition 1, a $2.97 million bond for Fire District 38.
