Police agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following:

Wednesday, Aug. 22
Booze lift: At 5:55 p.m., a store in the 400 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard reported that a man had stolen alcohol from the store and left the area in a black Dodge sedan, heading toward the freeway. The man’s description was provided to police.
Tailgating: At 9:10 a.m., a business in the 1200 block of Bendigo Boulevard North reported the theft of a pickup truck tailgate and a tail light assembly from a Ford pickup truck parked on the west side of a used car lot. The area was not fenced off.
Monday, Aug. 20
Shower interrupted: At 6:20 a.m., a custodian in the 46600 block of Southeast North Bend Way reported that he’d been shoved by a customer. The man had been cleaning the area of the men’s bathrooms and showers, and had knocked on the exterior door of a shower enclosure before entering. A man inside got very angry at the interruption and shoved the custodian down.
Missing plates: At 7 p.m., a theft victim called to report that someone had stolen the front and back license plates from his vehicle during the night. He had parked the pickup truck in his usual stall in the 400 block of Main Avenue South the night before.
Sunday, Aug. 19
Stolen car: At 8:20 a.m., a woman reported her vehicle stolen from the 300 block of Southeast 10 Circle. She said she’d parked it in her driveway the previous night around midnight, and had accounted for all the keys. This was the first of many calls to police that morning, about a pair of juveniles who had broken into a series of vehicles the previous night, all in the 8th, 9th and 10th street area. They were apprehended later in the day.

Monday, Aug. 20
Asleep on the job: At 10:50 a.m., a caller reported seeing a man sleeping in a field near a playground, in the 3400 block of Southeast Ridge Street. An officer contacted the man, who was working as a valet, parking cars for the Boeing Classic.
Friday, Aug. 17
Wrong way: At 1:49 p.m., an officer patrolling Meadowbrook Way saw a pickup truck in the northbound lane, pull across the road to park on the southbound shoulder, leaving about two feet of vehicle protruding into the roadway, in the 9400 block. The officer contacted the driver, who said she was just putting her dog into the back of her truck. She had a suspended driver’s license for unpaid tickets, so the officer cited her and advised her to wait for a licensed driver to pick her up.

Sunday, Aug. 26
Fight: At 1:06 a.m., police were called to a home in the 32200 block of East Bird Street for a reported fight. The officers responded and investigated the complaint, but no arrests were made.
Saturday, Aug. 25
Bike returned: At 7:35 p.m., police received a report of a found bicycle from a caller in the 31800 block of West Commercial Street. The caller said she might know who owned the bike, so she called the person, and he confirmed it was his bicycle.
Friday, Aug. 24
Dumpster diving: At 6:16 p.m., a business in the 4300 block of Tolt Avenue asked police to remove another person who habitually rummaged through the business’ trash dumpsters, leaving behind a mess. Police removed the person. Earlier in the week, officers had been called to remove a person who had vandalized the business’ restrooms, Tuesday, Aug. 21.
Threats: At 1:01 p.m., police responded to a caller in the 4200 block of Tolt Avenue, who said he’d been threatened over the phone by a family member. Police learned that the caller and family member had a long history of such behavior, and that the previous week, the caller had contacted the Sheriff’s Department about a different family member.
Thursday, Aug. 23
Road hazard: At 2:37 p.m., police were called to an obstruction in the 7700 block of Carnation-Duvall Road Northeast. Apparently a truck had lost part of its wooden cargo, scattering debris from Fay Road to the north end of Carnation. Sheriff’s Deputies also assisted in the cleanup.
