Bus accident

A Snoqualmie Valley School District school bus rests in a ditch after veering off State Route 202 across the street from Snoqualmie Middle School on the morning of Dec. 15. District Director of Transportation Jim Garhart said that shortly after 8 a.m., the driver hit a depression in the road on her way to start her elementary-school route. She lost control of the vehicle and it went into the ditch. No one was hurt in the accident and the driver was not cited for any traffic violation. Garhart said the state Department of Transportation and the city of Snoqualmie have been notified about the depression in the road.
