Camlann Village will hold summer programs, noon to 5 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, through September.
Already known for its summer festival and Bors Hede Restaurant, Camlann will come to life on scheduled weekends, continuing its popular and unique living history portrayals of medieval life.
Visitors learn about bowmaking, fletching, armor construction, spinning, weaving, wattle and daub techniques, dyeing and candle making. Villagers go about their daily tasks, clothier and book shops are open, and the Bors Hede serves hot meals, lunch from noon to 5 p.m., and dinner after 5 p.m.
Group tours are available for groups of four to 45 persons. Roger the Innkeeper introduces a two-hour exploration of the village, revealing the local history and gossip while encountering various local villagers who interpret village life as first-person characters.
