Morgan Henley Presents and the Lee Arts Foundation have revived the 6th annual Carnation Block Party – Rock the Nation Music and Art Festival, after a two-year hiatus. This free festival, is open to the public and all ages, and features live music and interactive art activities at the Tolt Commons in downtown Carnation on Saturday, June 18, from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
This event will begin with yoga class starting at 11 a.m. followed with art and music starting at noon. Some of the featured musicians include: Ethan Tucker, The Fabulous Orchids, Sean the Shaman, County Dave & the Pickin’ Crew and more. Red Eagle Soaring, Native Youth Theatre out of Seattle, will be performing at 2:40 p.m.
Lee Arts Foundation is hosting several interactive art booths for all ages. These activities include: walking stick creations, tie-dye, flower crowns, wire beaded salmon and more. There will also be a beer and wine garden and food trucks to keep you comfortable and vendors selling all types of hand-made creations.
