Parents in both the Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview School Districts are invited to participate in the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network's "Guiding Good Choices" program.

Parents in both the Snoqualmie Valley and Riverview School Districts are invited to participate in the Snoqualmie Valley Community Network’s “Guiding Good Choices” program.

The free prevention program gives parents the skills they need to ensure the future well-being of their children. The goal of this program is to prevent substance abuse among teens by teaching parents of preteens and younger adolescents skills to improve family communication.

Parents will learn specific strategies to help children avoid drug use and other problem behaviors.

Sessions in the Snoqualmie Valley School District are filled to capacity but space is available, for parents in Snoqualmie Valley or Riverview Districts, at the sessions scheduled for Tolt Middle School.

Guiding Good Choices classes run from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays March 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 at Tolt Middle School.
