In the “Class teaches horse riders to fend off attack” story that ran in the Feb. 26 Valley Record, there were two inaccuracies. Scot Hansen never worked for the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, he attended their school. Also, Hansen does not own the farm in Carnation where his clinics are held, he only uses it for classes.

In the “Valley Crusader Frances North passes away at 83 story” that ran in the March 12 Valley Record, the district Frances North represented in the state Legislature was incorrect.

She represented the 47th district.

The Valley Record regrets the errors.
