Snoqualmie Valley police and fire agencies responded to the following calls:

North Bend Police Responses

Tuesday, March 22

Suspicious Person: At 11:30 p.m., a caller reported that a suspicious person was walking around an apartment complex in the 1600 block of Rock Creek Ridge. Police did not locate the suspect.

Arrest: At 9:30 a.m., police made an uneventful arrest of a man with a $1,100 warrant for driving with a suspended license, in the 43200 block of Southeast North Bend Way. He was booked into the Issaquah Jail.

Monday, March 21

Vandalism: At 5 p.m., police received a report of vandalism from a business in the 100 block of West North Bend Way. The caller stated that a man had been seen spray-painting the side of the building.

Saturday, March 19

Burglary: At 2:20 p.m., a man reported to police that his home had been burgled earlier in the week. The home, in the 700 block of Ogle Ave. Northeast, was robbed  on Wednesday, March 16.

Snoqualmie Police Responses

Monday, March 21

DUI: At 8:15 p.m., police responded to a one-vehicle collision in the 38400 block of Millpond Road. A pickup truck was nose-down in the ditch, and the apparently-intoxicated driver was trying to drive the vehicle out. The driver admitted he’d been drinking and his breath test was positive, so the man was booked into the Issaquah Jail.

Car Prowl: At 11:50 a.m., a caller told police that she had been the victim of a vehicle prowl. Her car had been parked in the 9400 block of Hebner Avenue Southeast since 6 p.m. the previous day. Several items were missing, including a laptop computer and jewelry. The victim said she’d locked the car, but it may have been unlocked accidentally.

Friday, March 18

Cougar Attack: At 8:30 a.m., a citizen in the 8600 block of 378th Avenue Southeast reported that a large cougar was in the area, and had killed some livestock and a large dog. Police notified the Department of Fish and Wildlife. The animal hadn’t been seen since.

Reckless Driving: At 7:17 p.m., a caller reported that a gold Ford Explorer was swerving in and out of lanes on Snoqualmie Parkway near Southeast Douglas Street, and cutting other car off. The behavior continued for about eight minutes. Police were unable to locate the vehicle.

Fall City Fire District

Thursday, March 17

Neck pain: At 12:45 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded with Snoqualmie Fire Department to the 38600 block of Southeast Newton Street for a 10-year-old boy experiencing neck pain. He was injured after accidently running into another child on the play field. The boy was transported by Snoqualmie Fire Department to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah for further treatment.

Pain: At 4:38 p.m., Fall City Fire Department responded with Snoqualmie Fire Department to the 7800 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast for a 27-year-old woman experiencing severe abdominal pain. Emergency Medical Technicians evaluated, and began treating the patient on scene. Snoqualmie Fire Department rendezvoused with a private ambulance company at Interstate 90, and the woman was transported to a nearby hospital for further treatment.

Friday, March 18

Breathing problem: At 6:08 a.m., Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the 4300 block of 326th Place Southeast for a 76-year-old woman experiencing difficulty breathing. Emergency Medical Technicians evaluated and began treating the patient on scene. A private ambulance then transported the woman to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah for further treatment.

Breathing problem: At 9:48 a.m., Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the 4200 block of 337th Place Southeast for a 76-year-old man experiencing shortness of breath. Emergency Medical Technicians evaluated, and helped treat the patient on scene. The patient was released to stay at home.

Saturday, March 19

Bike crash: At 12:12 p.m., Emergency Medical Technicians responded to the intersection of Southeast 31st Street and Southeast Redmond-Fall City Road for a 45-year-old man with neck and back pain. He was injured while riding a bicycle, after colliding with another bicyclist. EMTs evaluated and began treating the patient on scene. A private ambulance then transported the man to Overlake Hospital for further treatment.
