The city of Snoqualmie is inviting residents to participate in its fall food drive to support local charities and food banks throughout the Snoqualmie Valley. All donations collected will stay local and be distributed to individuals and families within the area.
Demand is at an all-time high at many food banks across the state. More families than ever are seeking assistance during these tough economic times. Meanwhile, food banks are struggling to keep their shelves stocked amid increasing demand and soaring food costs.
“Supporting food banks and charities in our communities is important to us,” said Loraine Neal, Senior Account Clerk, who has volunteered to coordinate the fall food drive. “Please help us all make a difference in our community.”
