Eastside Fire and Rescue plans community meetings on strategic plan

In April, Eastside Fire and Rescue launched the beginning of a strategic planning process, to discuss the organization's future in providing fire protection and emergency services to its communities.

In April, Eastside Fire and Rescue launched the beginning of a strategic planning process, to discuss the organization’s future in providing fire protection and emergency services to its communities.

The planning process will focus on an agency-wide analysis to discuss strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges; identifying the mission and values of the agency; and establishing strategic priorities

Five meetings are planned to initiate these important conversations and community members are invited to share their thoughts on priorities for the organizaiton.

• 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 13, at Sammamish City Hall, 801 228th Ave SE., Sammamish;

• 6 p.m., Tuesday July 19, at North Bend Library, 115 E. 4th St., North Bend;

• 6 p.m., Tuesday, July 26, at the Carnation’s Fire Station 85, 3600 Tolt Ave NE., Carnation; and

• 6 p.m., Wednesday July 27, at Issaquah City Hall, 130 E. Sunset Way, Issaquah
