Starting on Friday, Oct. 7, Encompass will offer a new workshop, called Sibshops, to families of children with special needs in the Snoqualmie Valley, Issaquah and Sammamish areas.

Sibshops provide peer support, guidance and information to typically-developing siblings of kids with special needs in a recreational setting.

Recognizing that being a brother or sister of a person with special needs has unique ups and downs, workshops offer a variety of activities and opportunities to celebrate their contributions and talk with peers who “get it.”
