Encompass to host Inspire Breakfast April 26

Encompass will host its annual Inspire Breakfast from 7:30 to 9 a.m. April 26 at the Club at Snoqualmie Ridge, returning in-person for the first time since the pandemic.

The event brings together business and community leaders for a speaking program, networking opportunities and to raise funds for Encompass early learning, pediatric therapy and family enrichment programs.

“It brings us immense joy to connect with our supporters and the community for the Inspire Breakfast in its sixth year,” Encompass Executive Director Nela Cumming said in a press release.

The event’s keynote speaker, James Whitfield, is the co-founder of Be Culture and will present “Creating Beloved Community.” Whitfield is a cultural strategist whose work focuses on reconciliation and advancing justice.

The event will also feature Valley residents Charlotte and Jerry Rempfer, who will share why they created the Dane Rempfer Scholarship Fund and the families it has helped.

“[They] have such an amazing story of how they honored their beloved son with life changing gifts to so many families in the Valley,” Cummings said.

Snoqualmie Mayor Katherine Ross and her husband, Victor, both of whom have served as Encompass board members, will serve as the event’s honorary chairs. Local media personality Chris Cashman will serve as the master of ceremonies.
