Thursday, Oct. 17

Turned in: At 8:59 p.m., a caller at a business in the 700 block of Southwest Mount Si Boulevard contacted police to surrender. The subject was wanted on a felony warrant for having escaped community custody.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

Tire trade: At 8:45 a.m., a caller in the 200 block of Southeast Orchard Street reported the theft of the wheels and tires from his Ford Ranger parked on the street. The thief left behind a jack, which will be taken as evidence once the victim gets the wheels replaced.

Sunday, Oct. 13

Smash and grab: At 3:25 p.m., police received a report of a car prowl in the 300 block of West North Bend Way. Someone reportedly threw a rock through a car window to smash it, then stole a purse out of the car and ran. Several witnesses chased the subject on the Snoqualmie Valley Trail.

New license: At 1 p.m., a caller in the 600 block of Northeast Eighth Street contacted police to report his Minnesota driver’s license had been stolen.

Wednesday, Oct. 16

Monoxide error: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to a residence on Isley Street for a carbon monoxide detector alarm. Upon investigation, the CO reading was 0 and determined that the unit was set off when the homeowner replaced the battery.

Tuesday, Oct. 15

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Salish Lodge for an accidental activation of the fire alarm system.

Highway accident: Snoqualmie firefighters assisted Eastside Fire and Rescue with a motor‐vehicle accident on I‐90. Two patients were transported by a private ambulance company to the hospital.

Monday, Oct. 14

False alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the Snoqualmie Ridge Retail No. 5 building for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that it was a false alarm.

Alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to a commercial building on Snoqualmie Ridge for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that the alarm was set off by burnt popcorn in a microwave and the system was reset.

Sunday, Oct. 13

Auto alarm: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to an automatic fire alarm at the physical therapy office on Center Blvd. The crew located a bad smoke detector and contacted the management company to advise them to have a technician replace it.

Friday, Oct. 11

Car crash: Snoqualmie firefighters responded with Bellevue Paramedics to a car crash on State Route 202 between Snoqualmie and North Bend. The patient was not injured.

Car fire: Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Hwy 18, near the Tiger Mountain Summit, for a car fire. The engine fire was almost out upon arrival. Crews used water to cool the engine block.

Fire smell: Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to Spruce Street for a burn complaint. The crew could smell burning garbage but was unable to find the source.

Medical calls: In addition to the above calls, Snoqualmie firefighters responded to 10 medical aid calls, bringing their annual call number to 940.
