The Puget Sound Energy-produced documentary “The Power of Snoqualmie Falls,” will air 9 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1 on KCTS Channel 9.

The film tells the history of Snoqualmie Falls and construction of the world’s first hydroelectric plant built completely underground.

Through archival photographs and interviews with local historians, viewers learn how the power of Snoqualmie Falls affected the nation and expanded the use of electricity.
