Family doctor: Snoqualmie Ridge Medical Clinic welcomes Tricia Nielson

Dr. Tricia Nielsen has joined the Snoqualmie Ridge Medical Clinic team and will be seeing patients starting July 22. Nielsen is board-certified in family medicine. “Three of the most important attributes a physician can have are the ability to listen, to communicate effectively and to empathize,” she stated. “As a primary care provider, I strive to model these attributes. I believe that by developing a teamwork approach with my patients, we can better accomplish mutual goals in both preventive care and in the treatment of long-term medical issues.”

Nielsen earned her doctorate at Midwestern University, Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine, in 2009 and completed an internship in internal medicine at Good Samaritan Hospital in Corvallis, Ore., in 2010. She completed her residency at Lakeside Medical Center in Belle Glade, Fla., this year, where she specialized in family medicine.

“We are very excited to have Dr. Nielsen join our team,” Dr. Kimberly Witkop, vice president of Medical Affairs, stated. “She possesses an excellent blend of education and knowledge with a passion for community healthcare.”

The Ridge Medical Center provides a wide range of services, from routine health examinations to managing chronic conditions. The clinic is located at 35020 S.E. Kinsey St., Snoqualmie. Office hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday, and 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays.
