The Sallal Grange has been a part of the North Bend and Snoqualmie Valley communities since its inception in 1931. Almost three years ago the group re-chartered, and since then they have supported the Mount Si Food Bank in North Bend with turkeys, a weekly dairy drive, and donations. They have funded scholarships for students and teachers, and raised $1,000 in a fundraiser for the local women’s and children’s shelter Mama’s Hands House of Hope.

Aside from charitable work, the Sallal Grange tries to create community, with yearly swap meets and holiday bazaars, a popular community game night, contra dances and their locally famous “Grangestock,” showcasing local talent.
