Hair-Pulling: At 12:53 p.m., A woman called police to report an incident with her 25 year-old daughter in the 100 block of Main Avenue Northeast. The woman said she got into an argument with her 25 year-old daughter, who lost her temper and pulled her mother’s hair. The daughter and a 2 year-old grandchild are living with the victim.
Saturday, Dec. 18
Shoplifting: At 10:50 a.m., the manager of a store in the 200 block of East North Bend Way reported that a homeless man had entered her store and loitered inside for about an hour. The store cashier observed the man, who apparently shoplifted two cans of beer. The cashier retrieved the beers and asked the man to leave.
Tires Slashed: At 2:20 p.m., the victim of a tire-slashing incident called police. The victim had parked her car in the 400 block of South Fork Avenue, and when she returned she saw that the tires had been punctured. There are no suspects.
Car Sprayed: At 8:13 p.m., a woman reported that her car had been vandalized with spray paint while parked in the 42900 block of Southeast North Bend Way. She said she’d left a friend’s house and saw the vandal, a person she knew, walking toward her car. She said she yelled at the person to stop, but was ignored.
