Highway 18 will see lane reductions throughout November

Right eastbound lane will be closed on weekdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through November.

Drilling work on State Route 18 will require weekday closures of the right eastbound lane through the end of November.

The lane will be closed daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The lane will not be closed on weekends or holidays, including: Veterans Day (Friday, Nov. 11) or Thanksgiving weekend (from noon on Nov. 23 through noon on Nov. 28.)

Drilling crews are working in an approximately 2-mile section between Issaquah-Hobart Road and the Tiger Mountain summit.

The closure is part of the Issaquah-Hobart Road to Deep Creek Widening project. The $665 million project was funded by the Move Ahead Transportation package passed by the state legislature last year.

Widening could start construction as early as 2025, after work is completed on the related I90/SR18 interchange project.
