Sunday, Aug 1
Bear shot by bow and arrow: At 10:35 p.m., an officer was dispatched to assist the Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife with a game violation. Wildlife officials received a report that a man in a truck had driven past a bear, then shot it with a bow and arrow. The bear was lying next to a fence between two houses, and was still alive but not moving. While the officer waited for a game warden, the bear became aggressive and tore a hole in the fence. The game warden advised the officer to euthanize the bear. While waiting, a man approached the scene and was told of what happened. He escorted the officer to the home of a man who admitted to shooting the arrow at the animal.

Stolen raffle cash: At 3:50 p.m., an officer spoke with a woman who reported the theft of raffle ticket proceeds at the North Bend Safeway. She had been at the store selling raffle tickets for a soccer team when an employee asked her to leave, as she did not have permission to sell there. She packed her things, including cash from the sale, and placed it against the outside wall, then went inside for a few minutes. When she came out, the cash was gone. Store staff planned to forward video surveillance footage to the King County Sheriff’s Office.

Wednesday, Aug. 18
Loud party: At 12:53 a.m., a Snoqualmie officer responded to a loud party complaint. When contacted, the homeowner agreed to turn down the music and keep the guests quiet.
Tuesday, Aug. 17
Hitchikers and heroin: At 5:33 a.m., an officer noticed a man and a woman leaning against a barricade near the North Bend Way-Interstate 90 on-ramp. When contacted, the woman said they were waiting for a ride to Bellevue, and asked the officer to take them there. When the police officer asked for ID, neither of them had any. The woman said she had 50 warrants for her arrest. The man was arrested for violation of a domestic-violence no-contact order, as the woman hitchhiker with was the subject of the order. The officer searched him and found a butane bottle and heroin on his person. The woman pleaded with the officer to let them man go, as she believed the order was now a mistake.

Thursday, Aug. 5
Fire alarm: At 7:32 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Mount Si High School for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that it was a false alarm and the system was reset.
Medical call: At 9:42 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Medical call: At 1:58 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the IGA Village Foods for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.

Medical call: At 6:43 PM Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie downtown area for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Saturday, July 31
Illegal burn: At 7:48 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were called to Thompson Avenue Southeast for an illegal burn. Firefighters arrived on scene to find a homeowner with a campfire in his backyard. The fire was within the legal limits, and the homeowner was advised to keep the fire small and be considerate of the neighbors.

Tuesday, Aug. 3
Breathing problem: At 12:05 a.m., firefighters assisted a 40-year-old woman who was experiencing difficulty breathing. She was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Emotional problem: At 11:32 p.m., firefighters responded to assist a 24-year-old woman experiencing emotional distress. She was evaluated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
Monday, Aug. 2
Choking: At 4:46 p.m., firefighters assisted an 86-year-old man who had a partial throat obstruction due to a carrot that he had been eating. He was treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for further assistance.
Sunday, Aug. 1
Breathing problem: At 2:10 a.m., firefighters assisted a 47-year-old woman who was experiencing difficulty breathing. She was evaluated and transported to Overlake Hospital by a Bellevue Fire ALS Unit for further evaluation and treatment.
Illegal burn: At 7:45 p.m., firefighters responded to the 34600 block of the Fall City-Snoqualmie Road for a report of an illegal burn. The fire was found and extinguished.
Breathing problem: At 8:35 p.m., firefighters assisted a 45-year-old woman who was experiencing difficulty breathing. She was evaluated, treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for further treatment.
Saturday, July 31
Medicine problem: At 1:34 a.m., firefighters responded to assist a 36-year-old woman who may have ingested too much prescription medication. She was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for further evaluation.
Behavior problem: At 10:20 a.m., firefighters responded to a report of 49-year-old man who was acting strangely. He was evaluated and treated for a possible overdose to prescription medication and transported to Overlake Hospital for further evaluation and treatment.
Back pain: At 11:11 a.m., firefighters responded to the Lake Alice area to assist a 50-year-old man who had back pain. He was treated and transported to Evergreen Medical Center for further evaluation and treatment.
Car crash: At 2:57 p.m., firefighters responded to the 34600 block of the Fall City-Snoqualmie Road for a three-car accident. Five patients were treated and transported by units from Bellevue Fire, Eastside Fire and Rescue, Snoqualmie Fire, and Fall City Fire.
River incident: At 10:14 p.m., firefighters from Fall City, Eastside Fire and Rescue, Snoqualmie Fire and Units from the King County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a woman and five children stranded in the Snoqualmie River. A King County Sheriff helicopter was able to determine that the victims were able to walk out of the river on their own. After evaluation, it was determined that none had sustained injuries.

Stove problem: At 12:18 p.m., firefighters responded to assist a resident with a propane stove that was malfunctioning. The power and gas to the stove were shut off until it could be repaired.
