Snoqualmie city staff have announced that a hoax caller, using a city phone number and requesting personal information, is not associated with the city.

The hoax call, according to a resident who received one, states it is about a “medical alert.” The call is a “robo call placed by an automatic dialer from a phone number that shows up on caller ID as “City of Snoqualmie, 425-888-2561.”

The number is not a city phone number. Residents are advised not to answer these calls or provide the caller with any personal information.
