Valley hospital commissioners held their final special meeting Friday, May 23, at their longtime meeting site, the Weyerhauser Room at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, to approve revised promissory agreements with the Snoqualmie Tribe, wrapping up the sale of the old campus.

The revisions, approved by commissioners Fritz Ribary, Kevin Hauglie, Joan Young and Dick Jones, allow the Snoqualmie Tribe added flexibility in paying the $30 million asking price over a two- year period. The sale is expected to close this week, with title going to the tribe.

Hauglie called the sale “a stepping stone” to a future campus.
