Class start, dismissal times set for semester
School start and dismissal times have been set for the coming school year.
The start and end of school are different for various Valley schools.
The Fall City Elementary, Opstad Elementary and Snoqualmie Elementary School day begins at 9:05 a.m. and ends at 3:25 p.m., Monday through Thursday, with an earlier dismissal, at 1:25 p.m., on Fridays, to allow for teacher training sessions.
Cascade View Elementary School begins its day at 8:35 a.m. and ends at 2:55 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with a 12:55 p.m. dismissal time on Fridays.
North Bend Elementary School begins at 8:50 p.m. and ends at 3:10 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with a 1:10 p.m. dismissal time on Fridays.
Snoqualmie Middle School begins at 7:25 a.m. and ends at 2:12 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with a 12:12 p.m. dismissal time on Fridays.
Chief Kanim Middle School and Twin Falls Middle School begin at 7:35 a.m. and end at 2:23 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with a 12:23 dismissal time on Fridays.
Mount Si High School starts at 7:40 a.m. and ends at 2:18 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 12:18 p.m. on Friday.
At Two Rivers School, high school begins at 8 a.m. and middle school begins at 9 a.m., dismissing at 3 p.m., Monday through Thursday. On Fridays, high school ends at 1:38 p.m. and middle school ends at 1:48 p.m.
Pet farmers market planned
A Pets Farmers Market is planned for 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 20 and 21, at All Pets Go To Heaven, 35022 S.E. Fall City-Snoqualmie Road in Fall City.
The event includes handmade, homemade and hard to find items, playful, healthy and yummy goods for pets, as well as artistic, fashionable and chic pet goodies.

Cedar Falls tour planned
The annual Twilight Tour of the Cedar Falls historic townsite returns 6 to 8:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday, Sept. 26 and 27.
Visitors can drop in and take a stroll in the twilight to Cedar Falls, a historic community and the birthplace of Seattle City Light. Cost is $5.
