Pouring set for
City Hall foundation
The pouring of the new Snoqualmie City Hall foundation was set to happen on Wednesday, Aug. 20.
Bird Construction will pour the concrete mat slab foundation for the new city building, under construction at Southeast River Street and Maple Avenue.
Two concrete trucks were to deliver concrete each hour between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m. Trucks waiting to unload will wait off-site near Railroad Avenue to limit congestion in the residential neighborhood. Finishing work will continue until 8 p.m.
Caregivers’ group meeting in Valley
Caregivers who take care of aging spouses, parents, siblings and relatives now have a place to go in the Valley to share concerns, gain understanding and find practical information.
The purpose of a caregiver’s support group is to provide a non-judgmental, non-threatening environment that supports fellow members at their own pace.
