Families needed for exchange students

The Snoqualmie Sister Cities Association is seeking host families for 12 foreign exchange students visiting from Gangjin, South Korea. The ninth-grade students will be attending Mount Si High School. They will need home accommodations from Jan. 9 to Feb. 26, 2009.

Organizers said that hosting a foreign exchange student can be one of a family’s most rewarding experiences. It is a good way for students to learn from each other and for the family to work together in sharing cultural traditions and lifestyles.

Interested families should contact Michelle Maddux at (425) 888-1555 or e-mail to mmaddux@ci.snoqualmie.wa.us.

Registration is not required and space is limited to room capacity.
