Toy drive begins at NB Dressbarn
The Dressbarn outlet in the Factory Stores at North Bend is partnering with Hopelink to collect toys for needy Valley children this holiday season.
People who drop off new, unwrapped toys at the store through Saturday, Nov. 22 will receive a coupon for $10 off Dressbarn purchases of $50 or more.
While toys for children of all ages are requested, the greatest need is for gifts appropriate for teenagers, such as video games and gift cards.
Store manager Tammy Alford said the toys would be distributed to children in Snoqualmie, Fall City and North Bend.

Early parent group forming
The Program for Early Parent Support is offering a weekly three-month discussion group in the North Bend and Snoqualmie Ridge area on days and evenings in November.
A trained volunteer leads groups where parents can meet and share experiences with other parents, discuss topics of interest and concern, and learn songs and games to enjoy with their baby.

Fitness training at Sno-Valley center
The days are getting shorter and it can be difficult to keep to a fitness routine. The Sno-Valley Senior Center can help keep people on track with a new circuit training class.
Participants will move through stations that focus on specific muscle groups under the supervision of ACE-certified personal trainer Bonnie Schueler. She has 28 years of experience in resistance training. The program is designed to teach proper technique for exercise at home or in the gym. Classes cost $15 per session, or $48 for all five sessions.
The class will run weekly from Nov. 18 through Dec. 16, starting at 3:45 p.m. Learn more by calling (425) 333-4152.
