Movers and shakers in the Valley community are invited to help make a difference at the fifth annual Key Leaders Summit, 9 a.m. to noon Monday, Aug. 9, at Meadowbrook Farm.

Hosted by the Snoqualmie Valley Healthy Community Coalition, the summit brings diverse perspectives together to solve community problems, with the goal of strengthening community connections and fostering a healthy future for local youth.

Past initiatives include launching youth councils, initiating efforts to increase health services for teens, promoting lock boxes for prescription drugs, increasing understanding of long term affects of adverse childhood experiences, increased parenting education opportunities, and informing leaders about youth health trends and effective practices.
