King County is developing its first countywide strategic plan to guide policy and budget decisions over the next five years. The plan is supposed to answer three questions: Where are is the county now? Where does it want to go? and How will it get there?

The county is holding public forums to collect input from residents.

The next forum starts at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in the Preston Community Center at 8625 310th Avenue Southeast, Issaquah. Another forum is scheduled for Tuesday, July 28, in Renton, and Thursday, July 30, in Seattle.
