Leaders meet

Listening to the issues: Congresswoman Jennifer Dunn recently made a visit to the Snoqualmie Tribe's tribal offices in Fall City to discuss ways of helping the newly recognized tribe. Tribal Chair Joseph Mullens brought up several concerns with regards to healthcare, senior housing, an interpretative center, as well as potential tribal lands. It was the first meeting between Dunn and the Tribe since they had received word that the Tulalip appeal had been turned down.
