Tuesday, Dec. 8

Ski shoplifter: At 2:30 p.m., deputies received a complaint of shoplifting at the Summit West ski area at Snoqualmie Pass. A security guard at the shop said a young man left the Slope Style Ski Shop, causing an alarm to sound at the door. The guard heard the alarm and told the boy to go back inside. When confronted by the guard inside, the boy pulled a knit cap out of the front of his ski pants. He was released to his mother.

Monday, Dec. 7

Missing car? A deputy responded to a report of a missing car at the Snoqualmie Casino. At noon, a woman said she left her vehicle in the parking garage. She and her husband came in separate cars but went home in his car, leaving hers behind. She returned to the casino on Dec. 11 to pick up her car, but it was missing. The officer asked her to show him the exact spot the vehicle was parked. The woman said she was unsure whether the vehicle was parked on the second, third or fourth floor, admitting that her husband had been driving, making her unsure of the exact location. Casino security personnel were asked to provide surveillance footage; casino staff electronically log the plate of every vehicle that enters and exits the casino. Their data showed that the woman’s vehicle had not been in the garage since Oct. 20, exiting at midnight. The officer drove through the garage to confirm the vehicle was not there.

Saturday, Dec. 5

Intoxicated driver: At 3 p.m., an officer clocked a silver 1995 Dodge Caravan, traveling north on Meadowbrook Way, at 52 mph in a 35 mph zone. The officer pulled over the 39-year-old driver and later found out he did not have insurance for the vehicle. The officer smelled alochol and asked if he’d been drinking. The driver said he had a couple of beers. He then stepped out of his vehicle and offered to perform sobriety tests. The driver had difficulty performing the tests. He was then asked to give a breath test, but was then put under arrest for investigation of driving while intoxicated. Also found in the driver’s vehicle was a marijuana pipe. The driver was taken to the station where he was told he’d be receiving criminal citations for driving a motor vehicle under the influence of liquor, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Friday, Dec. 4

Another intoxicated driver: At 11:45 p.m., an officer was driving west on Redmond Way when a car approached eastbound with its high beams on, refusing to dim them. The officer made a u-turn and activated emergency lights. He followed the blue Chevrolet Geo for about 1.5 miles before it stopped. The officer asked for the woman’s license after she had given him her bank card. The officer asked if she had been drinking, but she said she had not been. However, the driver had two bottles of wine on her front seat. She was asked to perform voluntary sobriety test and agreed. She was unsteady on her feet and performed the tests several times, but was unable to complete them. She refused a breath test and was put under arrest. At the station, after consulting with an attorney, she agreed to complete the breath test and was released without charge.

Scuffle: At 2:30 a.m., an officer was dispatched to 7800 block of Pickering Court for a call about a 35-year-old woman screaming outside in the parking lot. Arriving at the apartment, the officer could hear yelling and the sound of items being thrown at the walls and a possible fight inside the apartment. Two women, from North Bend and Oklahoma, exited the apartment. The two women stated that they had been drinking that night and it was getting out of control after the 35-year-old woman had pulled another woman’s hair. The 35-year-old was arrested for disorderly conduct.

Thursday, Dec. 17

Abdominal pain: At 8:35 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to Woody Creek Lane for a 41-year-old man experiencing abdominal pain. He was evaluated and was transported to Swedish Issaquah Medical Clinic by his wife.

Dizzy: At 9:11 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Casino for a woman experiencing dizziness. The woman was evaluated and transported to Swedish Issaquah Medical Clinic by her husband.

Discomfort: At 10:48 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs were dispatched to the Salish Lodge for a 56-year-old man experiencing lightheadedness and some chest discomfort. The man was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by the Snoqualmie aid car.

Wednesday, Dec. 16

Chest pain: At 1:57 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino with Bellevue paramedics for an 81-year-old woman with chest pain. The woman was evaluated and transported to Overlake Medical Center by paramedics.

Medical problem: At 2:47 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Southeast Osprey Court for a 26-year-old woman with a medical problem. She was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.

Medical problem: At 10:50 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Heather Avenue Southeast for a 17-year-old girl with a medical problem. She was evaluated and transported to Swedish Issaquah Medical Clinic by Snoqualmie’s aid car.

Saturday, Dec. 12

Allergic reaction: At 5:37 a.m.m Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 21-year-old man with an allergic reaction. He was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by private vehicle.

Ice problem: At 2:19 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Library for a problem with a sprinkler pipe valve causing a lot of ice in the parking lot.

Friday, Dec. 11

Alarm: At 1:50 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Mount Si High School for an automatic fire alarm. After investigation, it was determined that it was a false alarm.

Pain: At 1:59 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded with Bellevue paramedics to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 40-year-old woman with abdominal pain. She was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by private vehicle.

Gas smell: At 4:27 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to the area of Fairway Avenue Southeast and Southeast Ridge Street for a gas odor. The smell was traced to a vehicle that was leaking fluid. The owner was advised to clean it up.
