This is western music to set the toes to tapping and the pulse to pounding, a marvelous mix of rousing two-steps, lonesome laments and lilting ballads. Hear it all, western swing, rockabilly, honky-tonk and classic cowboy balladry, delivered by a singer and band who have developed their own personal style and have pleased crowds in a huge variety of venues across the country and in Europe.

Wylie and the Wild West have appeared nearly 50 times at the Grand Ole Opry alone over the past 12 years, and they have a number of albums to their credit.

Millions have heard Wylie’s distinctive yodel as it has served as the prominent yodel on the Yahoo.com commercial on TV and radio. Audiences hear it as a soaring counterpoint in a great program of songs new and old presented by a true yodeling cowboy. Because when not entertaining appreciative audiences, Wylie is actually at home on the range – a ranch in Eastern Washington’s Palouse – where he and his wife Kimberley raise horses and cattle.

This is the last show in this season’s Arts Live series. As always, enjoy free drinks and cookies at intermission and following the show. Tickets for this performance are $15 general; $10 seniors; and $5 youth. They are available now at Nature’s Marketplace in North Bend; Isadora’s in Snoqualmie; and Video Nites in Fall City.
