Fifty-five 1900s-era Model T Fords will arrive at Meadowbrook Farm on Friday, July 10, in a rally during the final leg of a 3,900 mile cross-country Centennial Run.
Members of the Model T Ford Club International left White Plains, New York on Saturday, June 13, to reenact the 1909 Ocean to Ocean Endurance Race to the Alaska-Pacific-Yukon Exposition in Seattle.
The rally at Meadowbrook Farm will be open to the public from noon to 2 p.m. on July 10 for people to view the vintage cars and talk with the drivers. The Pony Boy All-Star Big Band will play music of the era. There will also be a performance by the Snoqualmie Tribe Canoe Family Drum Group.
All activities at this unique event are free, other than a salmon bake lunch catered by the Snoqualmie Tribe Canoe Family.
A limited number of tickets for the salmon bake will be available through July 1 for advance purchase only; they will not be sold at the event. Tickets are $10 per person and are available at North Bend City Hall at 211 Main Ave. N., Snoqualmie City Hall at 8020 Railroad Ave. S.E., and at businesses throughout Snoqualmie and North Bend.
The event is sponsored by 4Culture, the City of North Bend, the City of Snoqualmie, Meadowbrook Farm Preservation Association, and the Snoqualmie Valley Historical Society.
