The Riverview School District has hired Molly Lutz as principal of the Eagle Rock Multi-Age Program and as assistant director of Student Services.
Lutz also serves on the Professional Learning Leaders (PLL’s), with a focus on special education.
While that may seem like a lot to take on right out of the gate, Lutz has always been a skilled multi-tasker. She devoted much of her career to special education, earning her master’s degree in special education from Antioch University McGregor and her administrative leadership certificate from Seattle Pacific University in 2015. She arrives at Riverview after eight years in the Snoqualmie Valley School District, where she managed students in a self-contained classroom environment.
“From her very first day on the job, Molly has jumped in quickly and is most definitely an asset to the district,” shares Dr. Ken Heikkila, Riverview’s director of Student Services. “The expertise and experience she brings in the area of special education will be a strong support to staff working with students with disabilities.”
Lutz voiced her enthusiasm for taking this journey with Riverview.
“It is my privilege to be joining the talented staff within the Riverview School District… I look forward to assisting with the ongoing development of a high quality educational community as Riverview School District continues to strive to be a national model of educational excellence through the education of children.”
