The MOMS Club of North Bend will host a free car seat safety check by state-certified technicians for residents of North Bend and Snoqualmie.
The checks will be done from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 10, at Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.
Sponsors include the Washington State Safety Restraint Coalition, Snoqualmie Valley Hospital, Starbucks, Safeway, QFC and the Ridge Supermarket.
According to Safe Kids USA, 82 percent of children placed in safety seats are improperly restrained.
