A Bothell teen was killed Thursday afternoon on S.R. 202 when he lost control of his motorcycle and collided with an oncoming vehicle, about 1 mile west of Snoqualmie.
According to the state Highway Patrol report, the 17-year-old Bothell man was riding eastbound on S.R. 202 at 4:59 p.m., when he lost control of the bike on a curve. The bike drifted into the westbound lane and oncoming traffic, and hit a four-door car. The rider was thrown from the bike, which landed on the road shoulder of the eastbound lane. He landed just ahead of the motorcycle.
The car, occupied by a 31 year-old Auburn man and his 6-year-old daughter came to a stop on the westbound shoulder. The driver was uninjured, but the girl was taken to an area hospital for her injuries.
