Get to know local police and learn how to make a safer Snoqualmie this Tuesday night.

From 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, August 6, Snoqualmie Police Department hosts National Night Out Against Crime.

At the event, families can meet the police officers that serve the city, tour the police station, gun range, and jail, share information and get to know your neighbors, see exhibits from the Washington State Patrol Bomb Squad and K-9 Units, Major Crime Scene Van, and a SWAT Peacekeeper.

Also, there is an opportunity to recycle bicycles and bicycle parts at the CleanScapes recycle bin

Bring the kids for bouncy houses, party hoppers, face painting, Sno Cones, and prizes.

Police officers will be barbecuing hot dogs  and serving chips and beverages!
