New class offered at Mount Si Senior Center

Lengthen and Strengthen is a new exercise class offered at the Mount Si Senior Center, Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9 a.m. The free class focuses on lengthening and re-aligning the spine, strengthening core posture muscles, and improving balance. The class is recommended for people suffering from chronic neck pain, osteoporosis or osteopenia, and for anyone who wants to strengthen their spines or improve posture.

Participants should bring their own mats and towels for head support, and the center has a few mats available.
