The new Snoqualmie City Hall will open to the public on Monday, Dec. 14. It is located at 38624 S.E. River St. in downtown Snoqualmie.
Management and staff from six departments will move to the new facility including those of Finance and Administration, Parks & Recreation, Planning, Building, Public Works, and Information Technology. Centralizing individuals from five separate buildings into one will improve citizen access to city services, increase the efficiency of city management, and greatly reduce operational costs, city staff said.
To dedicate the building to the citizens of Snoqualmie, there will be a celebration and open house, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9. Dedication and ribbon cutting ceremonies, including special presentations and the public artwork unveiling, will begin at 10:30 a.m. There will be live music, children’s entertainment, refreshments, and tours of City Hall. Detailed information about the event will be mailed citywide in December.
“It is a landmark event in our city’s history,” said City Clerk Jodi Warren.
