Police and fire agencies in the Snoqualmie Valley responded to the following calls this week:
Snoqualmie Police Responses
Thursday, Jan. 13
Changing locks: At 6:17 p.m., a citizen contacted police because a man and women were seen at a residence in the 33800 block of Southeast McCullough Street with flashlights and tools. Police responded and contacted the pair. They were changing the locks on a home for the bank that had foreclosed on it.
Wednesday, Jan. 12
Early flood: At 9:05 a.m., Snoqualmie Police were notified of area flooding on Southeast Muir Street. Police responded and helped city public works staff to clear snow from a blocked storm drain.
Rogue refrigerator: At 10:11 p.m., a caller reported seeing a man wheeling a refrigerator down the street near the intersection of Baker Avenue and Kinsey Street, about 10 minutes earlier. Police responded but did not locate either the suspect or the refrigerator.
Tuesday, Jan. 11
Road blocked: At 8:51 p.m., an officer discovered a tree fallen across Stone Quarry Road in the 9000 block. The officer contacted Public Works and provided traffic control while they removed the tree.

Monday, Jan. 17
Egged and trashed: At 3:04 p.m., a resident in the 45800 block of Southeast 137 Street reported to police that someone had thrown eggs at the front of his house and dumped some debris in his yard. Police took his report over the phone.
Saturday, Jan. 15
Public drunkenness: At 1:52 a.m., someone contacted police about a possible assault that had occurred at a business in the 300 block of West North Bend Way. Upon responding, police determined that there had not been an assault, and the subject of the call was drunk.
Tuesday, Jan. 11
Old burglary: At 11:30 a.m., a caller reported a burglary that had occurred Dec. 17, 2010. The caller said that she had been doing some remodeling work on her home, in the 45800 block of Southeast North Bend Way. On the date of the burglary, she said she had gone to work, then someone had forced open her flimsy back door to break in and steal some jewelry and cash.
Monday, Jan. 10
Difficult customers: At 12:32 a.m., a business in the 700 block of Mount Si Boulevard contacted police to remove two customers. An employee said the patrons had been asked to leave, but refused. He suspected that they might have been smoking meth in the bathroom.

Wednesday, Jan. 19
Choking: At 9:06 p.m., firefighters responded to a 58-year-old woman who was chocking on some medication. She managed to cough out the medicine, and was left at home in the care of her husband.
Tuesday, Jan. 18
Fall: At 3 p.m., firefighters responded to a 46-year-old man who had fallen. He was treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.
Another fall: At 3:55 p.m., firefighters responded to a 91-year-old woman who had fallen. She was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via private ambulance.
Monday, Jan. 17
Back pain: At 9:14 a.m., firefighters responded to an 83-year-old woman with back pain. She was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via private ambulance.
Rafter in a flood: At 9:02 p.m., firefighters responded to rescue a man in a raft in the flood waters. He became hung up on some debris in the water.
Sunday, Jan. 16
Flood alert: At 1:06 a.m., firefighters were alerted by fire dispatch of a phase 2 flood alert on the Snoqualmie River. Citizens who opted to be on a flood alert call list were notified by telephone of the phase alert. A phase 2 flood alert in Fall City is constituted by 12,000 cubic feet per second (c.f.s.) of water at the sum of the forks of the Snoqualmie River.
Neck pain: At 3:19 a.m., firefighters responded to a 60-year-old woman who was experiencing chronic neck pain. She was treated and transported to Overlake hospital via private ambulance.
Flood alert: At 4:05 a.m., firefighters were alerted by fire dispatch of a phase 3 flood alert on the Snoqualmie River. Citizens who opted to be on a flood alert call list and who were not reached during a phase 2 alert, were notified by telephone of the phase 3 alert. A phase 3 flood alert in Fall City is constituted by 20,000 cubic feet per second (c.f.s.) of water at the sum of the forks (North, Middle, and South Forks) on the Snoqualmie River.
Flood rescue: At 7:02 p.m., firefighters responded to a swift water rescue incident. Two people attempted to drive through some of the flood waters and became stuck. Firefighters swam out to retrieve both of them. One patient was transported to Overlake Hospital via paramedic unit. Another patient was transported to Overlake Hospital via private ambulance.
Death: At 8:34 p.m., firefighters responded to a 65-year-old man who was unconscious and unresponsive. He had died.
Saturday, Jan. 15
Mini-stroke: At 2:25 p.m., firefighters responded to a woman in her 70s who was possibly having a mini stroke. She was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via private ambulance.
Heart issues: At 3:41 p.m., firefighters responded to an 85-year-old woman who had a cardiac history of atrial fibrillation accompanied by seizure. She was also seen by a paramedic unit from Bellevue Fire, and was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital via the medic unit.
Neck injury: At 5:24 p.m., firefighters responded to a 14-year-old boy who suffered a neck injury during a sporting event. He was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital via the Fall City Fire aid car.
Friday, Jan. 14
Flood alert: At 12:15 a.m., firefighters were alerted by fire dispatch of a phase 2 flood alert on the Snoqualmie River. Citizens who opted to be on a flood alert call list were notified by telephone of the phase alert. Faintness: At 9:04 p.m., firefighters responded to a 20-year-old man with a decreased level of consciousness. He was treated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital via the Snoqualmie Fire Department.
Car accident: At 11:37 p.m., firefighters responded to a single car motor vehicle accident. There were no injuries.
Thursday, Jan. 13
Knee injury: At 5:14 p.m., firefighters responded to a 12-year-old man who had suffered a knee injury. He was treated and transported to Swedish Hospital in Issaquah via the Fall City Fire aid car.

Thursday, Jan. 20
Odd smell: At 12:17 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for an odor inside a residence. The odor was coming from something burnt on the stove.
Wednesday, Jan. 19
Chest pains: At 3 a.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to Falls Avenue for a 62-year-old man with chest pain. He was transported to the hospital by medics.
Medical call: At 8:52 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and transported to the hospital by Snoqualmie EMTs.
Tuesday, Jan. 18
Unconscious girl: At 11:38 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Snoqualmie Middle School for an 11-year-old girl who was not feeling well and passed out in class. She was evaluated and left in care of the school staff while waiting for her parents.
Saturday, Jan. 15
Abdominal pain: At 11:15 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Echo Glen Children’s Center for a woman with abdominal pain.
Friday, Jan. 14
Medical call: At 12:44 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs and Bellevue paramedics were dispatched to the Snoqualmie downtown area for a medical call. One patient was treated and transported to the hospital by private ambulance.
Medical call: At 2:08 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
Fire alarm: At 6:01 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were dispatched to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for an automatic fire alarm. It was a false alarm.
Medical call: At 8:40 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a medical call. One patient was evaluated and then transported to the hospital for further evaluation.
