Beginning with its May 20 collection, North Bend will change its yard waste recycling program policies.

Among the changes to be implemented are restrictions of one truckload per household, per collection event, and no branches longer than three feet or thicker in diameter than three inches. Loads containing yard waste that exceeds these dimensions will not be accepted.

North Bend provides the free yard waste recycling program with funding from King County grants. Collection dates scheduled for the remainder of the year are May 20, June 3 and 17, July 1 and 15, Aug. 19, Sept. 16 and Oct. 14.
