Are you the parent of a young child? Join Encompass for “Protecting Kids from Toxins,” a free workshop to be held 6 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at the Encompass Main Campus.

Dangerous toxins can be found in fruits and vegetables, cleaning products – even sippy cups and the good, old rubber ducky.

This fun and interactive session, created specifically for the parents of young children and taught by Alison Henderson of Green Choices of Planned Parenthood Federation of America, will be filled with simple steps that you can take right away to better protect your family.

The Encompass Main Campus is located at 1407 Boalch Ave. N.W., North Bend. Childcare and snacks will be provided. For more information and to reserve a spot, call (425) 888-2777 or visit www.encompassnw.org.
