Thursday, June 5
Stolen plants: At 9:49 a.m., a woman reported that someone had thrown four plants into the backyard of her home on Southeast Carmichael Loop. The plants, along with six others, had been dug up from Azalea Park. The director of Snoqualmie Parks estimated damages at $80.
Tuesday, June 3
Accident: At 10:04 a.m., police responded to a three-car accident at Snoqualmie Parkway Southeast at Center Boulevard Southeast. An 88-year-old driver, who suffered a minor hand injury in the accident, was cited for turning left without yielding to another driver, who had a green light. Two of the three cars involved were not drivable and had to be towed.
Driving while on heroin: At 1:15 p.m., an officer pulled over the driver of a silver 2002 GMC pickup that was weaving through lanes on Railroad Avenue Southeast at the Kimball Creek Bridge. The 46-year-old driver was jumpy, had shaky hands, and stumbled backwards during sobriety tests. After a drug evaluation, she admitted to using heroin. She thanked the officer for arresting her, saying she would not want drivers like herself on the roadway. She was booked into Issaquah City Jail.
Monday, June 2
Coffee stand harassment: At 8:21 a.m., the owner of a coffee stand on Railroad Avenue Southeast reported that a customer had repeatedly argued with her employees about the business charging a 50 cent fee for credit card transactions. Police served the customer with a trespass order.
Pedestrians hit: At 2:36 p.m., police responded to the corner of Railroad Avenue Southeast and Southeast King Street, where the 17-year-old driver of a brown Subaru wagon had hit a 31-year-old woman and her young son as they crossed a crosswalk. Neither pedestrian was hurt, and the driver said he hadn’t seen them. He was cited.
Stolen lion statue: A couple reported that a concrete lion statue had been stolen from the front porch of their home on Southeast Sorenson Street the previous week. They noticed the gold statue, valued at $100, went missing a couple of days after they held a yard sale.
Sunday, June 1
Rock throwers: At 1:15 a.m., police responded to reports of three people throwing rocks at a model home on Southeast Jacobia Street.
Suspended license and meth: At 10:32 a.m., police responded to reports of a green 1992 Chevy Camaro driving recklessly and speeding at 75 mph in a 20 mph zone near Azalea Park. An officer pulled over the driver, who wept and said he didn’t want to go back to jail. There was a warrant for his arrest out of South Everett for driving with a suspended license. As the officer arrested and searched him, he found a glass tubes used for smoking methamphetamine. The driver admitted to smoking meth the previous day, told officers there was also a marijuana pipe in his car, and sobbed over his girlfriend leaving him. He was arrested and booked into Issaquah City Jail. The driver’s underage brother, who was also in the car and smelled of alcohol, received a verbal warning for drinking.
Saturday, May 31
Mental problem: At 2:15 p.m., an officer responded to a report of a man yelling at traffic and causing a disturbance at the bus stop at Railroad Avenue Southeast and Meadowbrook Way Southeast.
Borrowed or stolen?: At 3 p.m., a man reported a possible theft from his vehicle while it was parked on the 6400 block of Railroad Avenue Southeast. He told police he wasn’t sure if the property was stolen or if friends had borrowed it.

Breathing difficulties: At 9:15 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Schusman Avenue for a woman who was having difficulties breathing.
Wednesday, June 11
Medical call: At 7:18 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Ridge area for a medical call. The patient was evaluated and left in the care of parents.
Tuesday, June 10
Unknown odor: At 9:46 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters were called to S.E. Epsilon for an unknown odor. They determined the odor wasn’t hazardous, and was most likely mold or an animal problem.
