Honest return: At 9:50 a.m., a kindergarten student at Carnation Elementary found a wallet on the playground and handed it over to a staff member. Police contacted the wallet’s owner.
Agency assist: At 5:06 a.m., an officer assisted a Washington State Trooper with a drunk driving arrest at Northeast 124th Street and State Route 203.
Unlocked door: At 4:45 a.m., an officer on foot patrol found the front door to a building on Main Street unlocked. The interior of the building was checked, and nothing was out of order. The officer locked the door and left.

Malicious mischief: At 11:25 a.m., an officer was called to a mischief complaint at the 27300 block of Northeast 150th Street. Juveniles were suspected of spraypainting inside an abandoned home.
Wire fraud: At 2:46 p.m., officers received information about a resident who decided to sell a craigslist.org item to a person in Georgia. She received a money order, cashed it and sent a large amount back through Western Union. The money order was fraudulent. Carnation police caution consumers that if a large Internet payment sounds too good to be true, it probably isn’t.

Shoplifting: At 8:27 p.m., officers were dispatched to Safeway for a shoplifting incident. Two people were taken into custody and booked for third-degree theft.
Suspicious circumstances: At 6:23 p.m., a citizen called to express his concern about a door-to-door salesman. Officers were later able to contact the salesman and advise him to apply for a business license at the city hall.

Family disturbance: At 12:40 p.m., sheriff’s deputies broke up a heated verbal argument between a mother and daughter in the 100 block of Rock Creek Ridge.
Monday, May 18
Arson: At 10:33 p.m., a sheriff’s deputy responded to a fire in a garbage pile at the North Bend Train Station at 225 E. North Bend Way. The fire appeared to have been intentionally lit with matches.
Friday, May 15
Proposition: At 4 p.m., the sheriff’s office received a report from a North Bend woman who said her landlord had given her and her boyfriend an eviction notice, but had offered to let them stay if she had sex with him.

Monday, May 18
Dog bite: At 6:30 p.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to Northern Avenue and Railroad Place for a 37-year-old man who was bit by a dog. Snoqualmie police took control of the dog. The man’s leg was bandaged, and he was advised to go to the hospital for stitches.

Dizziness: At 3:05 a.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to Snoqualmie Casino for a 19-year-old woman who was feeling dizzy. She was evaluated and transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital by Snoqualmie’s aid car.
Saturday, May 16
Gas smell: At 9:37 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Ingram Lane Southeast for a gasoline smell. Crews checked the area and determined the smell wasn’t hazardous, then contacted the Public Works Department to follow up.
Illegal burn: At 2:53 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Thompson Avenue Southeast for an illegal burn. The homeowner was advised of the burn regulations in Snoqualmie and the fire was extinguished.
Smoke complaint: At 8:16 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to smoke in the area of Snoqualmie Ridge. They determined the smoke was from legal burn piles in the county.

Wednesday, May 20
Car accident: At 1:15 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident. One patient was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by private ambulance.
Sunday, May 17
Tractor accident: At 12:22 p.m., firefighters responded to a 54-year-old man who hit his head during a tractor accident. The man reportedly lost consciousness for a short time. He was treated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center.
Bike accident: At 5:04 p.m., firefighters responded to a motorcycle accident. The motorcyclist was not injured in the event, however some damage was done to the bike.

Illegal burn: At 11:28 a.m., firefighters responded to a burn complaint. Once on scene, they discovered that the resident was burning illegal material. A notice of violation was issued.
