Monday, Nov. 10

DUI: At about 12:30 a.m., an officer performing a bar check at Smokey Joe’s Tavern noticed a 28-year-old woman staggering around and slurring her speech. He saw her pull away in her red 1989 Toyota, and began to follow her. After she drove erratically, he pulled her over. Though she refused to perform sobriety tests, she reportedly admitted to being too drunk to drive, saying, “I knew I was going to get caught; I just knew it.” She was booked to King County Jail because Issaquah City Jail was at capacity for female inmates.

Vehicle impound: At 6:21 p.m., an officer noticed a 2002 silver Dodge Stratus partially blocking the road on Southeast Jacobia Street near Snoqualmie Parkway. The car, which is registered to a Mercer Island man, was towed.

Injured man: At 2:15 p.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to Cascade Avenue for an injured man.

Alcohol problem: At 12:50 a.m., Snoqualmie firefighters responded to a possible alcohol overdose at the Snoqualmie Casino.

Stroke: At 3:43 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a possible stroke. One patient was evaluated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by private ambulance.

Medical problem: At 6:20 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded with Bellevue paramedics to Southeast Aspen Lane for a woman with a medical problem. She was evaluated and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by private ambulance.

Pregnancy: At 8:07 p.m., Snoqualmie EMTs responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 38-year-old woman with complications from pregnancy. She was transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by private ambulance.

Allergic reaction: At 3:47 p.m., Snoqualmie emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to the Snoqualmie Casino for a 68-year-old woman with a possible allergic reaction to medication. She was transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital.

Chest pain: At 4:21 a.m., Fall City firefighters and Bellevue paramedics responded to the 4400 block of 325th Avenue Southeast for a 54-year-old man experiencing chest pains. He was treated at the scene and transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by paramedics.

Tuesday, Nov. 18

Breathing problem: At 8:55 a.m., the aid car responded to the 2800 block of 275th Avenue Southeast for a 5-year-old girl who was experiencing shortness of breath. The girl was helped, and the family planned to drive her in their vehicle to a pediatrics clinic.

Fever: At 2:26 p.m., emergency medical technicians (EMTs) responded to the 5300 block of 372nd Avenue Southeast for a 6-month-old boy who was experiencing a high fever. The boy was transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital for further evaluation by an aid car.

Sunday, Nov. 16

Illegal burn: At 4:09 p.m., the fire engine responded to the 4700 block of 328th Avenue Southeast for a reported illegal burn. After investigating the call, it was determined the fire was legal and the crew became available to take other calls.

Fall from ladder: At 5:12 p.m., EMTs and paramedics responded to the 5300 block of Preston-Fall City Road Southeast for a 51-year-old man who had fallen from a 30-foot ladder. After a trauma assessment was completed, the patient was transported to Overlake Hospital Medical Center by ambulance for further treatment.

Saturday, Nov. 15

Fall: At 12:14 a.m., EMTs were called to the 4000 block of 323rd Avenue Southeast for a 94-year-old woman who had fallen. After a workup of the patient was conducted, she was transported to Overlake Hospital via ambulance.

Illness: At 10:20 a.m., the fire station had a 52-year-old man who walked in, not feeling well. After the man’s condition was evaluated, he was transported to Snoqualmie Valley Hospital via ambulance.
