One month to go for Snoqualmie road work

Snoqualmie officials said today (Wednesday, June 24) that the city's downtown infrastructure and improvement project is in final stages with substantial completion anticipated by July 24.

Snoqualmie officials said today (Wednesday, June 24) that the city’s downtown infrastructure and improvement project is in final stages with substantial completion anticipated by July 24.

Intermittent one-lane road closures will continue Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. through project completion. Motorists may experience delays and are encouraged to use alternate routes.Road paving along Railroad Avenue S.E. is scheduled to be completed today.

Work that is expected to be complete by July 17 includes: boardwalk and information kiosk installation; sidewalk installation; energizing electrical system and street lighting installation; landscaping irrigation lines installation; pavement striping and road sign installation

Public parking is available at the following locations.

  • Parking lot at the corner of King St
  • Parking lot at SE Fir St accessible via SE Northern St
  • Parking lot at United Methodist Church (except on Sunday)
  • Front-angle parking along Railroad Ave SE in front of the church
  • Front-angle and parallel parking along Falls Ave E
  • Some parallel parking along Railroad Ave SE
