Chief Kanim Middle School released its list of “Honor Society” students for the fall semester. To rank in the group, students needed to have achieved a grade point average of 3.75 or better. A student with an asterisk next to his or her name achieved a 4.0 grade point average — straight As.
Shari Wilson, who works at Jeff Warren’s State Farm Insurance agency in Snoqualmie, is delighted to announce the birth of her first grandchild, Carmen Anderson, born to Zach, pictured, and Claire Anderson, who live in the midwestern United States. Carmen was born Feb. 21 and weighed four pounds, eight ounces. She was born six weeks early following a car accident in which her mother, Claire, was seriously injured. The entire family is thankful that both Claire and Carmen’s lives were saved.
North Bend is forming the North Bend Parks Foundation, a non-profit corporation to raise money for parks projects.
