Carnation resident Amy Peterson has earned her master’s degree in teaching, specializing in biological sciences, from Miami University with coursework through Project Dragonfly and Woodland Park Zoo.
Accepted to the Advanced Inquiry Program in 2013, Peterson has explored conservation and education in Belize and worked on area projects. She is a volunteer at the Seattle Aquarium.
The program combines coursework at Woodland Park Zoo and seven other U.S. partner institutions.
The program is now accepting applications for 2016, through Feb. 28, at aip.miamioh.edu.
